Winyah Air is based at the Georgetown Regional Airport in Georgetown, South Carolina (GGE) is a privately held, wholly-owned subsidiary of The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC). TKC is a Native Alaskan Corporation headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska. As a result, unlike many air charter and aviation service businesses, Winyah Air depends on a well-established and financially stable parent company ensuring that we can offer the highest standards of safety, customer service and regulatory compliance.

About Our Corporate Companies

The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC), formed on April 25, 1977, is focused on two distinct business areas: a real estate division and operating businesses that offer significant opportunities for steady growth and long term profitability.  In 2011, TKC formed a Holding Company, Tumeq, LLC (based in Mount Pleasant, SC),  to establish a business portfolio diversification process to add new lines of business to the TKC family of companies in order to better distribute operating and market risks.  Tumeq’s Diverse Business Portfolio includes fourteen (14) operating businesses, with five of the fourteen subsidiaries offering aviation services to include Fixed Based Operations, MRO Facilities, Aviation Logistics and ATC.
